Devising and Physical theatre is the practice that made me say, "theatre making is for me". I just finished the run of a devised show at The Chain entitled Roominate. It was a semi-absurdist physical theatre piece where another actor and I were attached by a bungee cord for the entire show. The moment when I get to find a new world with a group of passionate artists is moving beyond words.

 

Since living in New York I have had the opportunity to work on several devised/new works/movement based pieces and have truly found my home in this community.

 

In Boston I studied under Nathaniel Justiniano who is a wonderful divisor with a background in clown. I have also studied Action Theatre underneath the brilliant Cass Tunic which is a sensation based theatre practice that deals with the marriage and separation of movement and text, along with integrating gesture work. I would be thrilled to play around together and create.
