Devising & Physical Theatre
Watch a snippet of a devised piece I was recently a part of in the MFA Directing Program at Columbia Directed by Nikita Lebedev with instruction by Anne Bogart

Devising and Physical theatre is the practice that made me say, "theatre making is for me". This past August in Co-production with The Tank my most recent devised piece of theatre made it's New York debut. A Hoarder's Guide to Resurrecting the Dead was a show that I conceptually fully devised by myself and was further devised and enhanced by the wonderfully talented ensemble.

Earlier this year our production company just finished the run of our completely original devised show at The Chain entitled Roominate. It was a semi-absurdist physical theatre piece where another actor and I were attached by a bungee cord for the entire show.
Physical theatre allows me to explore new worlds with a group of passionate artists that moves beyond words.
Since living in New York I have had the opportunity to work on several devised/new works/movement based pieces and have truly found my home in this community.
In Boston I studied under Nathaniel Justiniano who is a wonderful divisor with a background in clown. I have also studied Action Theatre underneath the brilliant Cass Tunic which is a sensation based theatre practice that deals with the marriage and separation of movement and text, along with integrating gesture work. I would be thrilled to play around together and create.
